Fun first day. :-D

Hello again, faithful reader! I hope you have been telling others about the blog of extreme awesomeness of epic proportions! I've been tracking our path with an app called Traveler, so I decided to post a screenshot of our path here. We are pretty much over our jetlag, I think, and we woke up at about 8:45. ( I think... :P) We walked to the Ransley's where we were served a delicious meal of eggs over toast. We were delivered to the "tube" (subway ;), and emerged at Big Ben's tower. (Here I comtinue down our path by commenting
on photos...
Here is the overview of our Path. Hopefully I'll be able to share it in a link of Google Maps, so you can look at all of the pushpins. (Pictures and notes :P)

Here is a zoomed in picture of the more ziggzaggy part of our path. No, we didn't climb on westminster, although we did talk about it.
Here's a picture of Big Ben's tower. I know, you've all seen better pictures of Big Ben, but what kindof a blog would this be without a picture of a bell? :Dwell, here is a dude with a funky hat.

This is a statue of King Richard the Lion Hearted. He's riding right next to the houses of parliament.

Here's the side of Westminster Abbey, a nice little glade. From there we went into a little church, called St. Margret's. We stopped for several minutes at the side entrance of the Abbey, and then decided what to eat. We decided to eat at a resturant called Wagamama, a Japanese sort of resturant. (Probably more London-ese than Japanese, but with a name like that... ;) Anyways, that was a really good meal.

From the resturant, we went across the Century Bridge, which had a couple street performers on it. We walked along the other side of the Thames. From there, we went through the Whitehall gardens, which were nice and shady. I actually got an awesome picture of me taken there. I guess I'll upload it later. ;)

Here we have the ridiculously famous Westminster Abbey. I guess it's not ridiculously famous. But it's famous. You've heard of it, haven't you?  Anyways, from there we went inside for an evensong service, which was cool because we got to go inside for free. The choir was kinda disappointing, though.

From the Abbey we went to Trafalgar square, where they were having an opera in the park simulcast. On the way, though, we spotted the coolest pizzeria on earth. A desert pizzeria...

Have a nice day. Thank you, come again. :D

(You know what's cool about blogs written from over here? You get them a day early.)
